The Prospector is the first ship to feature a Mk II Large Mining Tool hardpoint. This hardpoint can be used to equip the Mining Volley Repeater, a revolutionary advancement in mining technology that fires specially designed laser-based projectiles to maximise the number of fragments extracted from an asteroid. Take your mining to the next level and never look back.

The Type-11 Prospector is the ultimate modern mining ship. Eight hardpoints, including the brand-new Mk II Large Mining Tool Hardpoint allow you to gather materials with ease, or equip your vessel with light defenses.

12 Optional Internal slots give you the flexibility to make the ship your own. A Size 5 slot is dedicated to a Fighter Bay, giving you more defensive capability in those compact asteroid fields. Another Size 5 slot is dedicated to the new Size 5 Mk II Mining Limpet Controller, allowing for up to 14 limpets active at once, with the ability to launch Collector and Prospector limpets. The Mk II Mining Limpet Controller is A-grade, meaning the best available performance for its size.
