Discovery Scanner - 11/07/2022

Greetings Commanders.

Another new week arrives in the Elite Dangerous Galaxy for us all and if, like us, you’re in the UK right now you’ll no doubt have something to say about the weather.
Fuel scooping is optimal, let’s put it that way.

Anyway, once again Let’s delve into a little ‘Galactical Housekeeping’, shall we?

Updates

We remain on target for this August to welcome in the release of Update 13, no changes to report since last week's Discovery Scanner post.

•    Still no specifics to share with you on an exact date of Update 13 release, but as usual as soon as we have more information to share, we will let you know.
•    We also have no further information around Console Profile Transfers, other than what has already been announced to you but again, as soon as we have more we’ll be sharing it out.

Thank you to many who took to the Forum at the end of last week to report in even finer detail regarding remaining stability issues. These conversations were so helpful.

The teams remain working as hard as ever to investigate and as soon as we have updates on progress we’ll be right with you, reporting in.

Please Note: We are still aware than some Commanders are continuing to experience issues with reporting crashes via the crash reporter tool. The team are also looking into this.

Game News

Azimuth

The Azimuth Saga continues…

Not only are things continuing to hot up for cowering Brits everywhere, HIP 22460 is feeling a heat all of its own.

Team wide we are in applause of your efforts so far as your combined forces remain ever resilient against current Thargoid aggression.

It’s incredible to see and we just wanted to congratulate you really!

This week’s ‘Featured Commanders’ is in respect of these said efforts, with a few amazing captures.

Featured Commanders:

Thargoid Attack 1

Commander Orange Pheonix: “This is probably my favourite shot from yesterday's
@EliteDangerous multi crew session with Brother Sabathius at HIP 22460. So many awesome photo opportunities!”

Thargoid Attack 2

Commander Radium: "Taking fire (these cap ship AXCZs are awesome)”.

Thargoid Attack 3

Commander StefanOS: “The battle in HIP 22460 - the shoot & the caustic cloud”

Thargoid Attack 4

LCU_NO: “I'm not sure this is going to plan. I'm sure it will be fine!”

It’s no easy feat capturing such intense moments during combat so Commander hats off to you!
These are just a sample of clear experts from a vast many of you out there, battling for a cause o7

Lavecon 2022

Lavecon

We are so thrilled to finally be back on the ‘Lavecon Scene’ this year.
Join Arthur, Zac, Bruce and Sally along with a strong selection of some much loved developer guests, all heading over to Milton Keynes to share a weekend with many massively respected Commanders of the Elite Dangerous Galaxy.

We’ll be joining the event for casual chats, to host a special show (more on that below), as joining in on some candid fun with other entertainment planned across the course of the weekend.

We can’t wait!

Frameshift Live #12

FSL12

As a reminder, there will be no Elite Dangerous livestream this Thursday because we’ll be bringing Frameshift Live #12 (playfully regarded as ‘Frameshift Lave’)  to you all direct from the Lavecon stage at approximately 14:30 BST, hosted on our official Elite Dangerous Twitch channel!
We’re so excited to share this fun, special edition with you all at home, as well with Commanders sharing the room with us. What an honour! Thanks for having us, Lavecon!

As always Commanders, thank you so much for sharing the awesome memories that you’re making with us and all of your fellow Pilots.
You’re incredible.
